Reflexology is a relaxing treatment that helps the body to realign and rebalance itself through pressure being applied to different points on your feet. Depending on the symptoms being addressed, specific reflex points are worked on to stimulate the body’s own natural healing ability. It helps to regulate and improve hormone levels and menstruation problems, aids relaxation, increases circulation, eliminates toxins, and boosts the immune system by balancing and harmonising all areas of your body’s system allowing them to work in harmony. Reflexology relaxes both the mind and body, and also counteracts stress and anxiety.

Maternity
Reflexology for maternity aims to optimise your health and wellbeing, using techniques designed for each of the stages of fertility, conception, pregnancy, birth and post-natal. Regular treatments may be beneficial for hormone balance, increased energy levels and promoting general well-being. Reflexology also feels good and is very relaxing. It is usually safe to have Reflexology alongside conventional medicine, but if you are currently having any medical treatment please speak to your GP or midwife before booking an appointment.

Deciding to start trying for a baby is an exciting time, you may feel like you need to be taking care of your physical and emotional wellbeing. It can also be frustrating and be a cause of great anxiety if conceiving your baby doesn’t happen as quickly as you hoped it would. Reflexology can help. It works on your whole system, is non-invasive, promotes relaxation and helps your body.

The Infant Reflexology Programme
This programme is designed to give the parent/caregiver the confidence to be able to use simple Reflexology techniques on their child to help with common childhood issues such as teething, tummy aches, coughs and colds etc. The beauty of Reflexology is you can use the treatment every day – they cannot have too much Reflexology!
